That was the first thing that entered my mind. The scariest thing is that I was on a plane when the breaking news came on (I was flying with westjet and each seat has it's own individual television). Was a big relief to hear that it wasn't terrorist related. Was still an unfortunate occurance though.

At first when I heard it, that is what I thought. Until I heard what kind of plane it was.. People say that they should "ban" flying so close to tall buildings. Well, if you know Anything about flying, or airspace, is that New York is very congested. You can not "ban" flying there... Besides, its not like this happens often. This was one accident, however unfortunate.

I did not even know about it until all the facts were in..however I got to go through some blogs where people were posting by the minute right after it happened and quite a few were freaking out and screaming 9/11 all over again

I did for about 5 seconds, before I saw it was a small plane. Terrorists want major destruction, not minimal like that. I figured it was an accident.
I'm glad our government did the right thing and scrambled fighter jets, just to be safe.

I was watching ESPN at the time, and when the story broke and they said it was in New York, the first thing I thought about was 9/ll. When they put the building with smoke and flames comming out of it my jaw droped.
