Which one is more preferrable??? "C" or "Java"??

Which is more better to Use??? C or Java... Which one do you prefer???

I just want to say, both of them has there advantage. C and Jave all can be runed in different platform, either of them will be useful once you learn it better.

well base of java is C but i guess java is better and i would like to prefer java

I know both the languages.C,C++ and Java are very much inter-related to each other.Though,I feel Java is the best and preferable of all the three programming languages.
