I have a kodak digital camera and a kodak photo printer. The pictures come out great, better than sending them out to the shop.

We have canon all in one printer. We usually use it to take all kind of print out, but still we are not using it to take a photo print. So, I don't know exactly how economical it is. But it seems it will be little less then taking print out at stores.

I got a high end Canon inkjet printer, I print out in a very high res and the result is perfect. I never really use it though, I mainly got it for my GF that needs it for her work at the university.

My Dell all in one printer will print pictures. Since we use the printer to print all sorts of things the cost is not apparent. Using the digital camera we imput directly into our pictures.
We used to use a one time use camera and pay for developing them. We got them on picture CD and that was economical.

We have HP printers. It's dual because it's a scanner and at the same time a printer. Yes, it is cheaper than getting it done on stores.
