Dark Crystal part 2 - GREAT MoVIE

This morning I read the following statement from Lisa Henson, the company's co-CEO and producer of the film: "The Jim Henson Company remains committed to producing Power of the Dark Crystal. The film has not been 'cancelled' or 'put on hiatus' or any of the other rumored status changes that have been floating around. This film is an ambitious undertaking for us and it continues to move forward as we work to secure the financing and distribution that a project of this scope requires; and yes, we are grateful to the fans who support Power of the Dark Crystal and we are excited to make this new chapter in the Dark Crystal story a reality." So there you have it. Now all fans have to worry about is how they're going to manage the year's wait. Any dark crystal fans out there?

How is it that I only just found out about this project? I LOVE the dark crystal. Now I can't wait to see this! I havn't seen the first movie in ages but I still remember it well. I'm going to buy the special edition so that I can remember every element of the first in time for the sequel! I CANT WAIT! Thanks for posting this!

Awesome!!! I didn't even know they were working on that. Thanks for letting me know. I love that old film. My copy got ruined so I need to get a new one.. I think I wore it out.

Whoa, I had no idea that there were rumors about the film being cancelled going around. It's a good things I didn't hear them or I think I would have been really worried. Honestly, I can't tell you how excited I am for this film and the upcoming Fraggle Rock film. I've missed seeing new Jim Henson Company films.
