I just read an article on the weekend that said skinny is out and curvy is in. Girls like Kate Bothswell, Nicole Ritche, Cameron Diaz are way too skinny. Girls like JLO, Jennifer Hudison , Penepope Cruz and of course Beyonce. I agree. What do you think?

I haven't heard that, but it doesn't surprise me. I think weight has been such a focus in this world, and so much empahsis is put on it that maybe the fact that there are so many of the famous people being obsessed that it is changing the focus. Those girls who are so unbelievably thin, to the point they are in "danger mode" would have to wake up people to think, why is this happening. They have proven that being super thin is not all that appealing.

One of these famous people are going to die soon in their race to be thin. Then people are going to start learning.

I totally agree. I think someone like Beyonce is way more attractive then say Nicole Ritche. I am a huge Kelly Ripa fan as many of you know but the other night my daughter and I were watching a rerun of her sitcom. There was a scene where she was wearing a low cut top and instead of a nice cleavage you could actually see bones. Hard to explain but it certainly wasn't attractive. Even some of the pictures with Nicole Ritchie when you see all her rib bones I think it is disgusting. I would never want to be that skinny.

When I see all those rib bones and the bones sticking out of their necks I all most throw up. They can't be healthy.

I hope so. Thin is ugly and not healthy. I hope it stays curvy for a long time.

even i heard that people want more weight on ramp now. too skinny models will not be considered to for a ramp show. in our country, i.e. India, models are usually more curvy than the international supermodels. they have always tried to emulate the west but hopefully now, after hearing this news they have taken a sigh of relief.

I really hope so! Those girls look so alot more healthier than the super skinny. I DO know that alot of modeling agencies, designers, etc., aren't taking the 'super skinny'. They want to encourage models to be a healthy weight.

I have always thought that being curvy is sexy. I am skinny myself but would love a body like theirs. Especially models or actors who loose weight all of a sudden does not look attractive. Girls look good with some meat on their bodies.

Gimme the curvy. I'm in a ballroom dance class, and I even prefer dancing with a girl who has an hourglass figure over a girl with a skinny build - the curvy girl always just comes off to me as someone who would be a better overall dancer. And of course, as far as what turns me on, CURVY. It's biological - it's built into us men to be attracted to traits conducive to motherhood and giving birth. Not to mention, there are other health benefits for women to have a little extra meat in the hips and butt.

I agree with you. Curvy girls are more beautiful and good to look at than too skinny girls. It's good to have good curves than to have a too skinny body.

A healthy weight is given by your BMI and your waist size I believe.
