Have you ever secretly wanted to be marooned in some remote part of the world?

When I first heard of the show "Survivor"- a bunch of people left on an island to "Outwit Outplay and Outlast," I thought I'd love it. I've always wanted to be a castaway on an island, or marooned in the moutains by myself- to use every bit of knowledge, ingenuity and available resources to survive and to make myself comfortable until rescue.
But that show turned out to be mostly about back-stabbing, politics and silly immunity games.
Then came Survivorman! Yes!

Ah yes! My favorite book, and first book I remember, was "Robinson Crusoe" then I dreamed for years of living on my own Island!
- And of all the Tarot cards, "the Hermit" is my favorite!
I think of myself as a partial hermit (or hermit wannabe!)
And yes, the more I watch the news, the stronger the urge to move waay out in the boonies as I don't see the progress of the world improving any time soon..
- And "Survivorman" is tops! And the one time we tuned in to the other 'Survivor', sure enough, just like you said all that silly backstabbing and personal politics.. same old, same old, we could say is the downfall of humanity and planet earth..
