If some people only here for the money, so what?

Personally i don't see the problem either. Although those i have noticed who are here for the money don't read topics when it comes to replying and normally it's nothing related to the discussion. This is annoying but i don't have a problem. I know people here who want to earn amoung other things and nobody should really have a fit over something like this. They've lost earnings because they haven't followed the guidelines or they've replied to a discussion which isn't up to the standard of what mylot wants. it's in the guidelines which was pointed out by a fellow friend, i haven't lost any so far because i reply to good discussions. money is the first and last thing... if there wasn't a money option mylot wouldn't have .1% of its current members... so there is no way to underestimate the money thing...

You are right and you bring up a lot of good points. We are all here for a variety of reasons, but if we're honest, I don't think many would stay here if they stopped paying us altogether. Some people need the income more than others do, and as long as they are willing to work for it and earn it legitimately, there is nothing wrong with that. If they are following the guidelines and are not cheating other users by copying their discussions or comments, then they deserve to be paid just like everybody else. But that is only if they are posting quality, well thought-out comments and discussions. The other problem here is that MyLot does not communicate with us about how they actually pay or about why they adjust earnings. I'm sure that your friends lost earnings because they deleted discussions that they had started or commented in, and therefore they lost the credit and earnings for those posts. I know that MyLot is not responsive to our comments and they do not answer concerns promptly, which I see as a big problem. I have also been trying to communicate with the administration about an issue and they turn a blind eye. I think that the best thing is to keep doing your best, encourage your friends to do the same, and try not to post in discussions that are obviously against the guidelines or that you feel will get deleted- it will only be a waste of time.

well lady this world is for money , even i think u might have join this cause u also want some extra income right...so no need to point out any1, rather if u concentrate how quick u can eran its better

I agree. Although I did originally join this site for the money, I found I have met some really great people here and it's a fabulous spot to come for advice. However, I think if I didn't get paid for it, although I would still come here on occasion, I probably wouldn't spend nearly the same amount of time here. And if I had suddenly lost $24 of my earnings, I'd be quite upset. He should send a note to mylot and find out what happened. This is a very large amount to lose.

I think that everyone is different and if they want to be on here for only the money that is fine as long as they follow all of the rules and regulations. Good Post. THANKS!

yep i am guilty of that :) i joined mylot at first for the money, but along the way, as money flow is really really slow i began to enjoy it, you know indirectly debating to people of different background. i really enjoy this site as it provides you certain insights about things, specially topics about religion, hehe really funny people. hmmm as for your statement well they do have a right to know what happened or at least mylot should point out what they've done wrong right? and i guess let the public know? thanks

See, here's the thing. The people that are here for money only usually do not read other people's discussions carefully and reply with a one liner or worst, some reply that's offensive and/or unrelated to the topic of discussion, which does not adhere to the guidelines. I'm sorry about what happened to your friend but I think he must've had a lot of crappy posts if so much of his earnings got deleted. I totally have faith in MyLot's admin and do not feel that they've conducted poorly.

I am on here mostly for money. HOWEVER I still thinks its a fun place to posts. I would stay on here if I didnt make money. But I WOULDNT come on here for hours at a time. I just hate when people say cause people like me have no jobs we are here cause of that. I am looking for work and have for like almost 2 months. I have 2 interviews tomorrows, but times are tough. Its slower, its harder to get a job. No shock. I pray I have a job by end of this month. I'm going nuts! But I will still do MyLot of course. My goal is still to make payout by months end. I'm doing alright. Been here a week and a half and I'm at $4.28 come end of Sunday night. Plus making friends and having fun posting not bad. Gotta go need sleep. night

I found out this site just few days ago and I enjoyed it very m uch. I don'think there is something wrong in make money writing here. really time is money nowday and spend it writing here is also a pleasure. I'm italian and I love speak English and it's for me an interesting way to learn it better and to test it everyday. I think it's wonderfull make question having answers and discuss about every argument whith people who live so far!

i think money can be a rather strong motivating factor.with this in mind, i can pay people some money to get the crowd to me and in the long run, because of the time value of money, all these payments would be small compared to what i will be making on my site. if people come in to make money, i guess it's okay insofar as the owners of the site make money in the long run. you are happy, i'm happy , everyone is happy, the whole world is happy what else could anyone ask for?

Of course they deserve to be paid. It would be a waste of time in their part if they will not be paid.

i think that mylot is a very good place to enjoy meet people from other countries share ideas and a good time pass and on top of it you get paid for all this and who doesnt want money i mean you are working for it so you have the right over it so no problem at all at people worried about money i had lost 12.5 $ and i was very furious i mean it was my hard earned money but later relised that mylot already transferred them to my account so i was very happy ask the person who lost 24$ to check his account the money will definitely be there

well, its reality that people need money.......its just a plus to us here in mylot that we are enjoying while earning as well.......though there are those who will say that its a plus that we earn while we discuss....so, either way.....we still are all winners...

I'm not sure how i got onto the site, but after reading a post saying that you can earn $$, i joined. After a couple of times coming on here, i've actually enjoyed reading and answering posts.
