There's a saying that "Tell me about your family and I will tell you who you are". Indeed, families define what you have been and what you want to be. I have been brought up in a tightly-knit family and my childhood memory are filled with happy moments with them.
We usually have this gathering every December 28 when we all give and receive gifts. My grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins will have games and talents shows that were sometimes silly but it binded us as a family. When I was young, I hated to participate and show my talent because I thought these adults were harassing us kids. When it was my turn to present my talent, I would be grumbling and I feel I ashamed because I can't sing or dance well. When I look back, it really did not matter if you can do your talent well. What matters most is that everyone had fun and enjoyed each other's company. What about you? What's your family like? What makes you proud of them?
