I'm always looking for ways to save money with what I have around the house. Like for example buying dry things in bulk...the ones that do not have an experation date. Using peanut butter to get the stratches out of CDs. Cutting a fabric softener into 3 so you have 3x3s etc. etc. Share your tips & ideas on this topic!! :)

I like to deep condition my hair, but i don't want to pay such high prices for deep conditioner. So, I mash up a banana, put it in my hair the same as I would conditioner, mostly putting it on the ends of my hair. I put a plastic bag over my head to keep the heat in. I put a towel over that to keep the bag on my head. I leave it in for 30 minutes and then rinse it out. It makes your hair really soft and smells yummy too

Speaking of conditioner it reminded me that it can be a wonderful alternative to shaving cream. I sometime use it to shave my legs with it and the results are smoother than what you would get with shaving cream!! :)
