What laws pertain to starting an pet cemetery in Texas?

I'd like to use an acre of my farm to create a local pet cemetery in the town of Washington, County of Washington, Texas. What regulations/laws pertain? What kind of permits will I need?

Why are you asking this question here? If you really want answers, you should talk to the local authorities. Try the State capitol building. When you get a live person, like an operator, tell them what you want to do, and ask for their advice. Who should you talk to, which department, and so forth. Good luck.

Thought someone might have some personal experience with the idea. Certainly do plan to ask both local and state authorities. Any other folks out there tried this?
