What's your favorite tv horror host?

While today's tv doesn't really have many examples, once tv was full of horror movies hosted by a character trying to be funny or scary. The horror hosts took the lamest job in television and made the most of it, creating a genre.
I like Chicago's son of svengoolie, who aired from 1979-1986.
