Do you believe that a simple person can learn some magic?

My MyLot friend Waynet made me think of a question:
Do you believe that a simple person can learn some magic tricks?
I am not talking about this type of a trick when you take a rabbit out of a hat. I am talking about doing some trick after which the other person magically starts doing what you want him/her to do. Or when you do some trick which attracts your luck and some good things just start happening one after another.
Have you heard of such things?
Do you believe in it?

What you are talking about is not magic...
It is hypnotism.
If you can hypnotize someone... you can then have them under your control and make them do things.
It is not very commun... which is just as well... Otherwise you can just imagine what would happen if we could hypnotize other people.
As for magic... there is no such thing.
Magic is an illusion.

Well, I can't totally agree with you though.
The point is not only in hypnotizing somebody, but also in influencing and programming your own destiny and luck by means of interacting with your subconsious and making it help you to find the right way, to make the right decisions and choices - have you every heard of anything like that?
Of course, magic is a sort of romantic name for it.

well, I guess persuasion works wonders for getting people to do something, kinda like politics? it is amazing how they can ruffle people's feathers! LOL!

yeah, in a way, you can attract good things to yourself, with a little effort. such as, picking a job that pays more, or picking a car just under your ideal budget for a little extra cash, you know used vs. new kinda thing.
they say that you can hypnotize someone to do what you will them to do, hypnotists have proven this.
women work their attraction on men all the time, and vise versa.
call it what you will, I just call it life!
