I do the same thing. When my husband comes home from work, I yell out "Dad's home", and they all run to greet him.

I responded to this, and Mylot went down. So, here I go again. I have two cats. I love them to bits. I spoil them with lots of love, hugs, and kisses. I feed them quality food, they stay indoors, and have all their shots. I buy them toys to play with, and to me, they are my children. I love them to the moon.

I do have Kids and I do treat my little Fellow like my Baby and he is like my Baby. He also has a lot to say for himself most the time and he has to have the last word all the time to. So I would say he is definatly like a Child and yes I treat him like one. My Daughter actually argues with him lol and it is funny as he always answers back.

I, too, have no children and my 5 cats are like our children. They each have different personalities and we give them each the type of attention their personalities need. They also come first before us if they are sick and need to see the vet or need medications, we always make sure they have everything they need so that they are happy.

I have seven cats and they are treated like gold. I love each one of them I can not tell you the joy that they give us, sometimes I just sit and watch them who needs T.V. when you have this live entertainment. I could not imagine my home with out them they are our family.

Yes, I love my cat just like she is part of family. She collect rats to and that makes me proud.

I have four cats, which I guess makes me the male equivalent of a "cat lady." All four are "turn ups" who stopped by the house at various times-- being out on the outskirts of the city seemed to make the neighborhood a dumping ground for unwanted cats. I don't have kinds, so I guess they are like kids, in a sense... they have the run of the house, and graciously allow me to live here. They are definitely more like "family members" than "just pets."

Not having kids, I feel my 2 cats have filled that little gap, I have fun playing with them and watching them play fight with each other.

It was hard working but i'm glad he made it.

I don't have any kids either, and my two cats, Pyewacket and Kissy are most definitely my kids...I've had pets, especially cats all my life, and they have always been my family members..

I have a human child, as well as cats & a dog & rodents. I love all of them. Of course, I love my son the most ~ but all of them are my children & I love them with all my heart.

Yes! :) I have a human child & he and I both treat our cats as if they were human children. They're quite spoiled, and they love to be "babied."
We love all of our pets, but we are closest to the cats.
