FTP Access Problem - Please Help!

Hello myLotians! I hope you people are doing great :) I would like to launch some times of my own. I would like to buy a domain and the site is almost ready as well. The only problem is ftp does not work at my home. What can be the problem, it does not connect. The access is also given from the LAN admin. Everything is fine. It do works from other places. If you have any valid solution please let me know or please tell me a solution like running ftp online from websites. Which are reliable and offers service for free and just like using real ftp. It do works at my side. Thanks alot for your time and help. I expect replies! :)
