yes I thought it was strange as well, when I had my blood tested when I was pregnant he told me my blood was very rare abo- when I asked him how he said my mom was ab+ and my father was o- and I had taken the ab plus the o- which made my blood abo-...
and my son was born o+ because his father is a+...

I have a family of six and we are all o+ except our youngest which she is 0-. That means she can donate blood to any one.
