I would come up with a good idea to get rid of them. I would definately not take it and deal with them.

I would avoid being around the person. Eventually they will get bored and leave.

If i would be put into a situation like this I would still try to get rid of that person but i will do it in a nice way.
For example: i will make excuses or pretend that i am really busy that i cant really entertain him or her.
Or i will also let somebody else in the house to entertain him in behalf of me.
