I have lost 13 1/2 pounds, and I joined a site I want to tell you about.

Hello everyone,
I have been trying to lose weight since November, and have lost 13 1/2 pounds. I am so happy! It feels so good to be losing this weight.
I joined SparkPeople.com a couple of weeks ago, and I am very happy with it. I believe that it has a good support system for me. I joined some teams and challenges, one being a 'scrap to lose' challenge where we are scrapping our weightloss journeys. This is so much fun, and I love to scrapbook. I love all of the resources available, and it is all for free. If you want to lose weight, check it out. You can tell them that I referred you, and look for my sparkpage there. It chronicles my weightloss journey, which is a good motivator for me.
I have also been going to a nutritionist for the last couple of months. She has been such a big help. For instance, did you know that a small blizzard from Dairy Queen has 25 grams of fat, which is half of my allowed fat intake for a day.
I struggle with the water drinking, but am getting better.

I'm a member of this site too and it's amazing. I just joined a week ago and have already lost 2lbs. It's a big help when it comes to eating the right/wrong things.

My total now is 41 pounds lost. Go me!!!! My nutritionist has me drinking 4 cups of water a day. Any more than that and I do not feel hungry, which means that I am not getting the utrients that my body needs.

I've been with Sparkpeople.com since mid October and have lost 20 lbs to date. The site is wonderful. There is so very much information available and it can be overwhelming. It is helpful that they present the site in 4 stages so that you can learn as you lose.
I find the groups very motivating. The online support from other members is unbelievable. The resources available are top notch and very informative. If you sign up for the daily emails you are slowly introduced to more and more of the available resources.
It's truly amazing that this site is free!
