cure to diabetis?

are you aware if you have diabetis? are you indenial? do you know the symptoms or atleast how to prevent from being a candidate of having diabetis? is it really that serious? what different types are there? how long can you live your life with diabetes and what are the do's and don'ts? is your love on suffering from diabetes? what can we do to help?

My housemate has diabetes, and only found out when he had to have a medical for a job he was applying for!!! He doesnt take it seriously, doesnt take his medication, and doesnt watch his diet, just eats whatever he wants!!! He has the type of diabetes that overweight people have, not the type where you have to give yourself injections. I find it quite scary that so many people may have diabetes, and not even know it!!!
