My fiance and I are about to celebrate our 7 year anniversary :) I couldnt be happier :) How long have you & your significant other been together? Do you still celebrate each anniversary? What kind of things do you do to celebrate?

That's awesome! Congratulations! It will be 6 years for us in June and I think we will be dining out at a nice restaurant. We celebrated our first anniversary with friends and family and then our 5th at a beach resort in Samoa. We were living there at the time, but had never spent a weekend at a resort. It was wonderful!

Congratulations!
My husband and I just celebrated our 9th anniversary. We usually like to go out to dinner, then a drink or two some place with a band playing so we can dance.
Next year we would like to renew our vows for our 10th. We really want to do it where we got married in the first place, Montego Bay, Jamaica, but it doesn't look promising right now, so close to home will be nice, too!

Congrats on both the anniversary and upcoming wedding! We usually celebrate our anniversary by going out to a nice restaurant (just celebrated our 7th last month!). Next year we are planning on actually taking a little get away for the weekend somewhere romantic. We've never had a chance to do it before!

My girlfriend and I are more than 6 years now. We'll be celebrating our anniversary this May. It's kinda blows my mind knowing that we are still going strong after 6 years. But hey, 6 years of a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship is nothing compared to when you're married. That's a lifetime. I don't know when to propose to her?! We're both 27. I think we'll just enjoy the rest of our youths before we do any lifetime commitment with each other. I've had friends who are married and yet they feel miserable because they said that they married prematurely. Spur of the moment thing I guess?

well my fiance proposed to me after 2 years of dating. Its hard for me to think of being together for so long to. We've had our ups & downs but the fact that we are still together through it all is what makes me even happier. we managed to get through it all :) If you truly love her & you feel she is the one you want you can propose whenever...there is no timeline to marriage. I think the best thing you can do is dont mention it at all to her. Not a single word about it & then one day take her somewhere sweet whatever is special to you & just pop the question. If you can manage it set up a camera to capture it. Or even have family around to watch but hidden it will mean so much more & be that much more special! :) it will be awesome!
