Do you think this is a best day from all 365 days to express Love?

Being French, Valentine's Day isn't in our culture. It was imported with the US hegemony and I must say that NO ONE in France likes it. People who are single hate it because it reminds them that they're single and couples hate it because they can tell it's a day that was created by the shops to make money. It spins the economy to have Valentine's Day, but it's absolute rubbish.
Here in the UK, people actually do a lot for it, because they relate to it. They don't consider it to be as economically-driven as the French, because they were born into it since it's so old.
I personally think it's rubbish. You have other important dates (birthdays, 6 month anniversary, year-anniversaries, the new year and christmas - because christmas has always been an important day to me) that are very special. These dates you should celebrate accordingly with your loved one. On the other days, you can be just as lovy. You can bring a gift back to your partner on a random day to surprise him/her, and it'll be much better than knowing you're getting something because it's Valentine's Day.

Great.........................................
Actually I also think this is a rubbish act. This is only a way to make money for nothing. In India, Even Some people protest valentine day. I think in some of their arguments are ture. This is not in our culture or religious. So why should shake butts for nothing.
