Kelly Clarkson vs Carrie Underwood

My problem is I like country music. Carrie is a very good voice in that genre. I absolutely love Kelly's voice and like to listen to her as well. I do not think you can really compare the two as their styles are so different and they both are very good singers. I do not think there is a wrong answer to this question.

I don't really know Carrie Underwood. I've heard of her, but I haven't heard any of her songs or actually heard one note that she's sang. I'd prob choose Kelly Clarkson anyways because I love her songs and think she has a great voice. I'm also not a fan of country music!

i like them both. but maybe if i were to choose one, it would be carrie underwood. i dunno why, maybe i watch her grow in american idol unlike kelly clarkson (i haven't got the chance to watch season 1) nevertheless, they are both superb and they have different genre of music so it's unlikely to compare them though. best wishes to both of them and congratulations to dear carrie for winning grammy's!

I got to say it's Kelly Clarkson! Her songs are good and her voice is powerful. While Carrie Underwood suits better with country music.

They are both good. They have different unique style of singing and they're both won in a grammy.

Both singers are great performer. They are different and unique individual. Kelly is pop rock chick who's song are more edgier and full of angst. In the other way, Carrie is country chick who's song are inspirational and love songs.

I definaltely like Kelly Clarkson more. I don't like a lot of country music so Carrie Underwood doesn't appeal to me at all. I actually preffered Bo Bice to win that season. Kelly Clarkson has a broader range where Carrie Underwood is only focused on country and that is not my thing.

I'd say its Kelly Clarkson!. In terms of being flexible to different music genres I'd say its Kelly. Carrie is also good but she is too focused on country music and she is too safe with the songs the she sing, unlike kelly (kelly prefers to take risks by moving from rock to pop to ballad in a very flawless transition). Nothing beats the first nothing beats the best! That's Kelly Clarkson!

i like kelly clarkson better beacause her voice suits any genre unlike carrie who is more in to country although i really like carrie underwood

Both are unique and have different styles. I like Kelly Clarkson and the sound of her voice, but I do like some of the songs Carrie Underwood sings. They both are good!
