new york will never be the same. so many people were lost in 9/11. i lost a family friend. Im thankful that my dad didnt have to go to ground zero. he was a vouenteer firemen for engine2, but they werent zoned for the city, so they didnt have to go. we were scared for the families of those who were out there. my condolences to those who lost their loved ones.

Wow! Thanks for sharing! Here is my 9/11 story. A close friends hubby was there on business and was walking down the street in NY when the first plane hit, she-my friend- was at work here in Ga and couldnt get thru to him,and didnt even have her cell on her,and she was the only one at work and couldnt leave. I called and called until I got thru- he was ok, but shaken up! every year, even though they have moved now to new jersey-she sends me an email on 9/11 for helping her by making sure he was ok. I dont even feel I did anything, but she says I did,and make her feel better actually talking to him and making sure he wasnt in the building- in another 25 mins he would've been there for a meeting!
