I love Netflix. I have been a member since 2004 and their service had been outstanding. I love their website with its vast library of movies, complete with summaries, reviews, and previews. I love that I can also share queues with friends and write messages to each other. Furthermore, you can have access to rare movies that are not usually found in your local video store.
I also like the convenience of having movies delivered to my house and that I can keep them for as long as I want without having to worry about late fees. Also, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan anytime you want. You can also freeze it for some time like when you are moving or going on vacation. (I did that when I moved from one state to another)
I haven't tried Blockbuster, but since Netflix has been working quite well for me, I have no plans of changing anytime soon. Also they will have downloading capabilities anytime soon based on their announcements. Sounds good to me.

I love Netflix, I like the fast turn around of the DvD's and the fact that I can post how I felt about the movie I just saw. I love the selections and that you can request a movie and get all the information you need about the movie in order to make a decission. The cost is reasonable as well and I am not worried about late fees.

That's some of my favorite things about netflix also. You can actually see alot about the movie and what others thought about it before you rent it. And no late fees is my absolute favorite. I've sometimes kept movies for several months.

I live in Maryland and the Blockbuster here is terrible. I like Hollywood video. We pay a monthly fee to rent movies. I rent quite a few movies a month so it pays for itself fast. The people at hollywood are very nice and I very seldom wait in a line. The hollywood store in only two blocks from my home which is a great convenience. I don't like mail in stuff because you have not control over the mail. The movies may come at a fast pase but you have to wait till they recieve the old movie before they sent out the new one. It seems like a lot of wasted time.

I've been using Netflix for a couple of years. When I read about Blockbuster features, I still don't think it has any advantage for me, over Netflix. The Blockbuster store near me is very expensive, and they don't have the movies I want, so even with the free movies they throw in, it's no bargain.
