Do you think Malfoy will turn good?

I think it's quite possible. If we look at just the last book Draco was not happy with what he was ordered to do. He would get compassion and understanding from Moaning Myrtyl because he couldn't talk with anyone else. He wasn't able to kill Dumbledore even though he knew if he did Voldemort would raise him up because of it. I think there is good in him and given the chance it could shine through.

Malfoy's a coward and a jerk but who knows maybe he will redeem himself by finally standing up to his father and siding with the good guys. I don't think he's inherently evil, he was just brought up that way by his parents. He acts that way to please them.

Malfoy is a coward. I think he will side with whoever is going to win to save his hide.

I don't think that he was really evil.. I mean, he really didn't want to kill dumbeldore and was just sick worring about his parents.. I think that he will be saved or die.. Or maybe be contorolled (not imperiused) by voldie.

I don't think he will turn to the good side. Ms Rowling has said in one of there rare interview to stop thinking Draco Malfoy in the image of Tom Felton ( the one who plays Draco Malfoy in the movie ). Many people started liking Draco because of Mr Felton's Good personality. Tom is such a good kind person, and he is really good to Ms Rowling's daughter. But Ms Rowling have told to leave any hope of Draco turning to the good side.

I don't think that Draco will ever become good but he is a coward but I think that because he's family was all in slytherian. I think Voldermort will kill Draco for not killing Dumbledore.

I think Draco will turn out to be good. Lucious on the other hand I am pretty sure is just a real nasty guy and will most likely end up at Azkaban. If I were JK, I'd let Draco live and show some turn around on his views towards "mudbloods" and yet leave enough guessing to be done for how he will truly turn out.

Anything is possible. He couldn't bring himself to kill Dumbledore, he's a coward, and though he is a huge jerk, he's not scary enough to be truly evil. That being said, if JK should kill him off, I'd be okay with that.

nah i dobnt think he ll ever turn good.. most probably he weill try to kill harry or some one else an get thrown in prison.. another i dea i think is that he ll die at the habds of Voldie himself..

yaeh their are chances of draco to turn good ....may be according to me he would be the one who would save harry at the last from voldemort ..may be things maynot be like this but as far as i think this would be the thing which is going to happen...

At some point maybe he would turn good. After I have read about Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince, on the Lightning Struck Tower chapter of the book, there was a scene when Dumbledore and Draco were discussing about Draco's options. When Dumbledore said they can hide Draco's family away from Voldemort just by turning in to the right side, Draco lowered his wand. This gesture by Draco points that he has some good in him and he's not really bad. He just had to do that task so that Voldemort would not hurt his family. Since draco did not kill Dumbledore instead Snape did. I think he'll be killed or he'll be punished. Or maybe he'll beforced to do the Dark Lord's bidding.

no.. he will die for sure! i think that voldemort would curse him and some other of his servents and in the fight- harry vs voldemort harry will win but it would kill him too but we will have to wait untill the book arrive right?
