They say that there are free games, which is true. But does anyone actually win these prizes. I have never seen on the news or anything where these people actually win. But they want you to pay a yearly membership so that you can play other games that, once again, people are suppose to win at. Why not just have free games that people can play and not charge. They have plenty of advertisers that would cover any prize money. What a scam.

I think that you are wrong. Why would it be in the new for someone to win such a small prize as 4,999.00 which by the way is the top prize.Just as many nonmembers win as members.I subscribe to play the really cool members only games. Not for the prizes.

I had a friend who won on the fifty dollar drawing, and she got into pogo because a friend of hers used it and showed her the check where she had won over 2000 dollars.
I know my friend really did win the fifty I don't see why she would lie about her friend.
So the question is, are the winners they announce real?
Yesterday I was in one of the rooms playing a game, when two people were chatting, so I happened to notice the user nicks,
When one of the two stopped and just went "oh my god" a short time later the name was announced as the winner of the jackpot, could it be two employees of pogo pulling a scam an chatting at that time sure it could. Could it be real sure it could.
I use the pay aspect of the site because I am paying for the games that are not available for free.
So that aspect of it is not a scam you do get access to more games by paying. Do they pay out funds, I know that they did at one point pay out at least fifty dollars to a person whom I knew.
Beyond that I couldn't say.

I have been playing games at Pogo for years now and have only won one wallpaper in all the time that i have been on there. i buy sometime a 3 month membership that they sell on a card at k-mart for $9.95 to play the other games but about to give up on that received a email about the games on pogo and some of the other sites that stated that the jackpot spinner on pogo spins about a million times a day and if there are 200,000 players on the site that your chances of it stopping on your name is about one in a million, not to good of odds. I like the games that you have to play for. I see some people in their profile that has mugs caps and other things that they have won, but one wallpaper, that by the way didn't work, in several years, they are making a killing off of us. Always seeing someones name come up winner right after i leave a game, they say just bad luck, well we either pay and enjoy the other games knowing we have no chance to win or just play the free ones, either way don't think you have any chance at winning there

I did try the free trial membership and played club pogo. I was not impressed. Don't get me wrong I love pogo. I just couldn't see paying to play when my favorite games are free. I have been playing in a room when someone in that room won the jackpot (not me of course) so I think they do pay out winnings. I did chat with one gamer that said she had trouble getting her winnings but she did get paid on a small jackpot, that is took a long time to get it also.

I can honestly say that I have won money from Pogo AND have received my check. It wasn't much (if I remember $20) I have to check my profile again. And that was when I wasn't paying for the site. I haven't won in about 3 years but I do know of someone else that received there check from winning the jackpot in Dice Derby about 6 months ago. You don't have to pay on the site to play however I like earning the badges and everything else that goes with it. There are other sites that are scams probably but I promise that Pogo is not one of them.

I think if you're just playing pogo games because you're trying to win money, you're missing the point. I am a proud member of Club Pogo (for over a year now) and I thoroughly enjoy the badges, members-only games, and minis. If someday I win the jackpot, I'll be grateful, but that's not why I'm there at all. If you're just trying to win money, there are plenty of other places to do that that require less time and effort on your part.
