do you have "security blankets"?

I would try to defend myself by saying that I'm too adult to have a "bwankie," but the truth is that I sleep with a teddy bear ::big guilty grin:: I slept with the same teddy bear for 18 years (yes, he looked pretty shabby--I still have him) until my boyfriend at the time (and still best friend) gave me a teddy bear along with my diamond bracelet for last year's Valentine's day. I've been sleeping with that little guy since then and I'd have to say that he's much softer and much more cuddly than the one my uncle gave me when I was born!

In the past, I've had several security blankets which proved to be very helpful in my many ordeals and endeavors. However, they are all temporary relief. One that provides me the greatest security now is the Bible and my prayer life. Indeed it has grown and affected my thinking in a lot of ways. :)
