Ok! Just 3 days ago I was in the super market with my brother shopping groceries and stuff. We tried to find some tuna cans. I picked the one I saw first and my brother start yelling at me. "Have you checked for the sign?" I then asked which sign. I was surprised to be informed that most companies that can fish they use dolphins instead of tuna. They slaughter them by hundreds in order to avoid fishing for tuna, since tuna is a very hard fish to fish. So, be careful with your tuna cans. They have to have the special sign marked "dolphin safe". Can we do anything about it?

From what I heard it goes like this.
If it isn't dolphin friendly that would be because the people that catch the fish don't ensure that their nets are dolphin friendly and when they catch them in the nets they usually just beat them or don't give a #W&&$#$ about them, dolphin friendly is supposedly the fishing companies that have dolphin friendly nets. Just remember not to believe all the videos you see there are places that eat dolphins and sharks and so on and someone might have made a montage of those and given it the title they want.
Here's something sort of on the subject http://www.wwf.org.uk/news/n_0000001611.asp

I personally ban all can tuna. I have since I was about 8. Because even though the "dolphin safe" cans don't contain dolphin meat, the dolphins are still injured in the nets and left to die. Its horrible. I joined the Save the Dolphin foundation a bunch of years back. They try and help the situation. But the bottom line is that people want canned tuna. Its cheap and easy.

I think people really have to find some other ways to feed themselves. Dolphins and other sea creatures are not able to react.

Hi Remaster it is nice to see you again
I was not aware of that at all, I don't even know if they put that on the Cans here in the UK, I will look out for it. I don't know if there is anything we can do about it, I don't think there is. I know I signed a Partitian on here a couple of Months ago, about the Slaughter of Dolphins. It really upsets me that they are doing this to those lovely Dolphins, I love Dolphins, I don't understand, how People can do it to them.
