Karen Ann Quinlan does anyone remember her and what ever did happen to her ....

I remember hearing about this young girl, she had been using diet pills and went to a party had a few drinks and went into a coma ...all this with about Anna Nicole Smith just made me remember her ....hope someone knows what happened to Karen ...

Karens family were one of the first families to open up the right to die debate after karen slipped into a coma, doctors saved her life but she suffered severe brain damage and lapsed into a persistent vegetative state, her family waged a legal battle for the right to remove her life support machinery, they succeeded but in a strange twist karen kept breathing after her machine was turned off and remained in a coma for another 10 years in a nursing home before finally passing away in 1985, its a very heart breaking story

yes it is very sad ...I was wondering ...she lived so long in a coma and once in a while you might hear something about her ,but I was just wondering what ever did become of her ...thanks so much ...
