There is this man that I really like, but I don't have the guts to ask him out. We flirt all the time, but neither one of us has made the first move. We both go out of our way to see each other even if its just to say hi. I want to give him something for Valentines day that says hey I like you. I would love some suggestions.

There is no ONE SINGLE thing that says 'I love you' to ALL men , the best gift is a PERSONAL gift ,it shows you care . For example ,if my girlfriend gave me a DVD set of all the Starwars movies ,or a new guitar ,or a book that teaches about computer animation ,or a vegetarian cookbook ,or a set of weights and bars for exercise at home, or a group of horror stories in French and Italian , I would APPRECIATE it ,because those were all things I personally am interested in ,that might have NOT been the best gift to give anybody else ,but mean a lot to me because it reveals how much she cares about what I like and what I want !
#PS : A CD or a tape with a song that has "I love you" in its title also does the trick .I got a gift from a girl once ,it was a recording of a song ,it's title was 'I love you' ,but I did not understand it right away .

hmmm ok, if I were you, very innocently tell him your hungry and going to get a bite to eat and ask if he wants to come along or if he wants to go get some coffee together! For valentines, maybe a nice card, thats says looking forward to getting to know you better. And maybe a heart shaped lolipop and with a note that says this is for you, your so sweet to me!
Good luck! let me know how it goes!

In this day and age you could just ask him out , say you are really keen to see a film that's on in the cinema or ask him if he would like to go out for a meal with you , say you love to eat out but you feel uncomfortable doing it alone , would he like to go with you , something along these lines , good luck xx

If i was you i would kind of go to his place but make sure there was noone else there. Use an excuse to go to the bathroom and get changed into something sexy that you would think he would like. Then i would go to his room call out to him to go to you. Then see what his reaction is. Hopefully he would love it and then things will progress from there or else, You could make up a candlelit dinner for you both at your house invite him round when its all just about done. That way the atmosphere is romantic and give him a card that says will you be my valintine. I think that the candle lit dinner would be better if your a shy person, And that way you are not putting too much on the line.

I have been through this situation. I am a firm believer of saying your feelings as you only live once. What I did before was to find a card (it is good because I found one) that says on the front cover I LOVE YOU (in bold letters) and then inside the card"...I just wanted you to know." and slipped in his book.
That will take the pressure of because of the phrase "i just want you to know". Meaning you are not expecting anything in return but just want to let your feelings out in the open. If your lucky he might be feeling the same way too. If not well atleast you told him no regrets that you didn't do so in the future.
I did tell my guy friend through that card how I felt, well he just love me as his friend...it doesn't matter atleast i let him know. I am now with a person I love and who loves me back (o and by the way I also told this person that I like him).
