I am assuming you mean brush instead of blush but you need to start teaching him now. My son is 11 months old and I have been brushing his teeth since he got his first tooth. And I let him hold the brush and take his hand through the motions at least so he can get use to it. He mostly just chews on the brush but at least he knows kind of what it is used for.

Just get him a kiddy toothbrush. He should mimic what you do so let him see you brushing your teeth. This is what I did to my 2 however I always did a good brushing for them just before bedtime.(just in case they missed out anything)

i have a 2 nephews from my sister. age 2 and 3. We teach them on how to brush their teeth by showing on how i do brush my teeth. Sometime we forced them to do and they'd cry. So far they easily adapt the way of proper brushing. But since aging 2 & 3 years old we brush their teeth once a day after they'd taking a bath.

what??at the age of 3, still don't know how to brush his teeth???..my daughter is 3 years old too...but she knows how to brush her teeth since 2 yrs. old. At first, i was the one doing it...i do brush her teeth but as days went on...slowly, she's learning. i let her hold the brush after i do her brushing...at first, she just bite the toothbrush...but now, she can do it on her own..and it feels good to see your child doing it by herself. i'm sure your son will learn it soon...slowly, don't be in a hurry. let him learn step by step...

i think about the age of six years.it should be by blushing
in front of them and they will imitate us.

i would start now with a baby toothbrush and paste, the way i taught my kids was i stood in the bathroom facing them and said watch what mummy does and then got them to do it. it takes a while but they eventually get it . it a case of monkey see monkey do. if yoy and your hubby both do it with him it will make it easier for him, goodluck and i hope this helps
