Windows Vista....Opinions, Thoughts and Anger!!

Im considering the move to Vista as i must admit i like shiny new interfaces that look all new and exciting. I have heard so many bad things about Vista though that i thought i would call to you guys to see if any of you have had problems or not. I know there are a lot of compatability issues with Vista, everything from Sound Cards to Printers but has this been the case for everyone?! I really only use my computer for films, music, pictures and a couple of pro applications such as photoshop and protools. As long as this all works im definately up for making the change. I also had a virus problem a few days ago and i think it is partly due to the amount of junk i have on my computer. By installing Vista i can start over and delete everything i have after backing up the files i want to keep. Anyways, just thought i would get your thoughts and opinions.
