has anyone got a good book who could tell me some references as to what a 3 yr old should be saying and how they communicate. i need information for learning about child language developement.

there are several books, but here are a few.
How babies talk : the magic and mystery of language in the first three years of life / Roberta Michnick Golinkoff and Kathy Hirsh-Pasek.
So much to say : how to help your child learn to talk / Edmund Blair Bolles ; foreward by Ann C. Nitzburg.
