Hello there,
I recently got some problem with my internet explorer. It says that ActiveX control has been deactivated and I must activate it to see certain sites. The sites like gmail, picasaweb and so on.
How do I troubleshoot it as I tried to activate it in the internet options - security.
please also tell me how can I restore the default settings of my internet explorer?
Thanks

OK apparently my computer crashed and I can not get it fixed. I have gone to bootdisk.com to copy the disk I need, but still no help.
When I push the start button and it tries to go through the setup page I get an error
Windows 200 could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: ||WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEMced startup options for windows 2000, press F8. You can attemp to repair this file by starting WIndows 2000 setup using the original Setup floppy disk or CD-ROM. Selct "r" at the screen to start repair.
I don't have my disk and I don't know what to do. Someone told me to check the BIOS using the F1 or F10 button at startup and they said that I have big problems.
Can you help? If not thank you for your time with reviewing my question
