how many of u think that pets are essential in life?

Yes I feel that they are essential (my god, I have 12! 2 dogs - doberman's to be exact, 4 cats, and 6 guinea pigs - 2 were a surprise, we thought we had 4 males it turns out we have 2 males and 2 females and 1 of the females was pregnant and she gave birth giving us a grand total of 6). We love every single one of our babies and it helps with the emptiness of not having our own physical children at this time. We are trying to fill that emptiness in our lives (not with animals but it sure seems that way). But it makes us happy, so I guess that's just the way it is :)

I have had pets most of my life. cats to be exact. and i think the reason we feel better with animals as friends is because animals dont betray us, sleep with our husbands, steal our boyfriends, gossip about us, or stab us in the backs. they give us unconditional love as we give them. And they can't talk back so really its always a one sided conversation, and hey who doesn't like to be right all the time lol.
