Should land owners be managing there woodlots better?

Why do people think that trees need to rot and die? Trees can be harvested just like crops as long as the woodlot is managed correctly. I have met with tons of land owners that won't stand to reason. Tell me what you think.

I think you are correct. But alas, most people would not see reason to this, as in disrupting nature. Alot of people use what they need and let the rest go.
