I've been much of an addict lately on watching Grey's anatomy! Every episode made me stick to the series even more.. eventhough i'm not a medical person in any way.. Likewise i thought, is this something like the ER tv series then?
What then do you prefer most and why?

I hope not. I liked ER the first few seasons, but then it started to seem like every week was hyped--"This week, an event will strike the ER which will change lives forever." Then the following week there would be something like that again....honestly, how often can something devastating happen on a weekly program?
I think Grey's Anatomy is more character based, and less hyped. The past week did have the disaster, which I thought was very good, but if it continues week after week, it will turn me off.

I never got to consistently watch ER, but I started watching Grey's Anatomy a couple months ago, and had to run out and rent seasons 1 & 2 so I knew what was going on. My husband and I are addicted! LOL

I lost interest in ER. It used to be a great show, and I'm sure it still is, but it's just been on for too long in my opinion. Too much of a good thing just gets old. I'm glad for all the actors though.
Grey's is my addiction now. I guess I'm not really into the medical cases in either of the shows. It's all about the drama and the character development.

I think the two series are enjoyable in their own unique ways. I enjoy both of them . I haven't watched ER lately though so I don't know how it is nowadays.

Id prefer Grey's over ER. I've seen a few episodes of ER and didn't quite like how the stories go. When you start an episode on Grey's, you just cannot stop. Then the last thing you'll know, you're ending one season and then starting a new one. Each individual stories are also good. Overall, the series is both informative and enjoyable to watch.

Greys!!! :)
ER is good, but its not as good as it used to be. It's more medical drama. Grey's is more drama about the medical staff.
