have u ever met a cross-culture problems?

problem occurs when i met a American friend in lunch time and asked him; have u ever had ur lunch? he thought i maybe wanna invite him to eat something... Also has another case: i said i eager to chat with my ex-bf before i met him but i donnot know how to start our topic when i meet him,in that case, he thought i ,ve been tired of the relationship between us. cause of cross-culture diffrence and space distance i said "bye" to him. what about u? have u ever met a cross-culture problems?

There are some cross-culture even in the same country. Allow me cite an example, if a peasant operating a company with a speculator, they will quarrel with each other everyday. Their opinions are different with each other. So I think the cross-culture exist anywhere.
