Do you sleep more than ten hours a day?

It doesn't matter when or how much a person sleeps, but everyone needs some rest to stay alive.A good amount of sleep every night is also important for your health.Different people need different amounts of sleep. Children sleep more than grown-ups - perhaps fourteen to eighteen hours soon after birth.Young people need more sleep than adults. At night, you have REM sleep for about four hours, the rest of the night is lighter sleep.Do you sleep more than ten hours a day?

No not really. Sometimes I do, but usually, I barely get 5-6 hours a night. Weekends I usually get about 10 or more, depending on whether or not I can actually sleep in or not.

I am told that sleeping in late occassionally has no good effect. it may actually cause more problems. I think it is best if we have a regular schedule and try to follow normal times.

I sleep 8 hours at night and then I take a nap during the day usually about 4 hours more. So I guess altogether I sleep 12 hours a day. I just get tired during the day so I end up taking a nap.

I wish I had the chance to sleep for 8 hours a day. Unfortunatly my life these days don't allow it. If any one does could you please pass me a few....lol!

Oh my. i wish i could sleep that much a day. I do sleep at least four hours a night, but when i sleep longer its always broken sleep. like sleep a few hours get up feed the baby, sleep a little more, get up feed the baby, change the baby, It's hard to get a good amount of sleep!

I probably get about 8-10 hours of sleep a night, but I have slept 10-12 hours on occasion. This is usually if I haven't slept much the night before.

God i wish i could get 10 hours sleep a night, i am lucky if i get a solid 4 hours. I have always had trouble with sleeping for as long as i can remember, bu t its strange because i am rarely tired. I try to go to bed early but i just lay there for hours and hours not being able to fall asleep

I go through spells of sleep and wake periods, Sometimes I go to bed early and get up early, a normal 8 hour sleep pattern then sometimes I get all messed up and stay up until 3 4 5 in the morning and then I will sleep its eems forever and ever like ten hours, but then I get myself turned back around by staying up all night and going to bed the next night early! I know I don't do it that often but sometimes I do!

Before i say anything i would like to say that i like sleeping very much but at the same time i would say that its not my obsession. I should have a proper sleep. On weekdays i sleep for around 6-7 hours. Without this much it becomes very difficult in office next day. The whole day i feel lazy. On weekends i try to complete everything. Sometimes i even sleep for 12 hours continuously on weekends. If you are not having proper sleeps your face tells it all. Its not good for your health.So having a proper sleep is a must to keep yourself rejuvenated and healthy all day.

Not as often as I would like. With a 4 year old, household chores to do and demands from the hubby, its hard for me to sleep more than 8 hours. Some weekends, my hubby and son let me sleep in which is nice.

I think it is unhealthy for a healthy adult to sleep more than 8 hours a night. It also doesnt allow you to do all the things that need doing and you will be late and unable to do things that normal people can. I usually find that people with unregular schedules are the ones who sleep longer than necessary because their bodies are usually out of balance.

When I was still single I can sleep for more than 10 hrs, sometimes even up to 12. But now that I have a daugther to take care of, I can't aford to have that too much sleep. For one, my daugther wakes up early so I have to wake up also to take care of her when she's already awake.

i wish every day was sunday so i could sleep a blt more, no i don't sleep that much,i do sleep just enough,8hours
