The budget Valentine gimmick! help!

I don't have much money to spend on valentines day. I know my girl would love to have a neat surprise this coming wednesday but, all that my brains could rack has been all about fancy dinner dates.
I cannot afford one, and I'm sure my girl doesn't mind at all. But I raelly want to give her a very nice surprise. anyone there with nice ideas?

I bet she would like it if you made her dinner yourself, and put effort into making her day romantic without spending money, like use candles you already have for dinner, make something with the stuff you already have at your house, and buy her a stuffed flower or osmething for the table. that way it lasts longer too. i dont know if you have a doller store where you live, but if you do they have stuffed flowers with faces on them they are very cute and they are only a dollar each. i have many :)

Thank you for your advice, but it still has that "same old gimmick" effect. It's way better than my own idea, but it still isn't what I'm looking for. Maybe something more unique? but no doubt your suggestion is really sweet.
