Feelings - Do we control them or they control us?

Yes you are right these feelings control us. If you can control all your feelings then i think you can have peace in life. Or you can say you have become a different person.

In every aspects of it all, we must show our feelings. It's so nice expressing how we feel, right? Whether it's bad or good one. We control our feelings if we have to, to some extent we do that. . . . . . . btw, can you teach me how to add some images to my discussions? i'm lost. thanks. ^_^

We are apt to be controlled by our feelings but we have intelligence to control our feelings. Men are rational and men are not just being controlled by their emotions. Otherwise, many of us would perhaps be in jail for killing others because of impulse or emotions. If I'm angry, it seems that if I box the face of another, definitely that face would be disfigured so I don't box anybody if I'm angry. If I box on the belly, I foresee my fist like a sword piercing the abdomen of that person. I believe that men are able to control their feelings and not their feelings controlling them although in some instances, our impulse control us.

most of the times we are unable to control feelings.it takes a strong mind to feel stone cold.we need to concentrate on something else when it is hard to control our feelings.

In everything that we do, we always have a choice. It is up to you to be happy or to be sad. It is up to you to love or to hate. When we let our feelings to control us... it is our choice... and whatever the consequences are, we can only blame ourselves.
