Why should they tone down their comments? They ARE Americans, AREN'T they? They do have the RIGHT to free speech according to your constitution, just like you, don't they? Or is free speech only allowed for people who think just like you? I don't think they said anything so bad. After all, even people who don't praise Dubya have the right to an opinion.

totally agree, musicians by their very nature of being creative and free thinking have often been drawn to more liberal attitudes. Why should they be criticised for not supporting a president who only has a 30% approval rating. Also surley the grammy is for their music not their political statements.
