Our country is suffering political instability...

This is my first time to start a discussion. Please consider my lines of being a newbie... This could be very shameful to post here since mylots' coverage is worldwide. But this concerns me a lot especially that we are going to have the national election in more than three months time. What i want to happen is to hear from you some advices as to what i(as a citizen)can do to solve this national crises in part. We are a democratic government, i enjoy the rights and priveleges that a citizen should. But what i can't help is its impact to our national economy.To what i had known my country seems to down-slow its economic growth. Before 1980's my country holds the title of being the "economic tiger of southeast asia". But as of now we are very left behind. We belong to the third world country! Does our form of government affects so...? Citizen of the progressive countries, what can you say so?
