I didn't watch the Grammys but I was delighted to see the Dixie Chicks do so well. I have really loved that CD and I'm glad to see that they got some vindication for all that came before.
I heard that Christina doing the James Brown song was amazing too.
I'm kind of sorry I missed it. Another thing I heard about that was funny to me is that Carrie Underwood thanked Simon from American Idol but used the wrong last name. If true, that is a hoot!

Chistina sang "It's a Man's World" and made it her own. I don't remember if Carrie used the wrong name for simon or not.

I fully agree with all that you've said. The show was very entertaining for a change,I guess that shows the quality of the music these artist put forth last year.John Mayer,John Legend, and Corine Bailey were great also.Christine bought the house down with her singing and I don't know why she isn't respected more,Brittany surely isn't the singer Christine is,in fact very few females can top that girls voice. The Dixie Chicks were always a favorite of mine and I say they have the right as Americans to express their feelings about our president just as the people had the right to express their disgust with what they said, that's America.Good Show.

I always thought of Britney as a dancer who could sing and Christina as a singer who could dance.I agree, Christina has one of the best voices I have ever heard.
