Wy do people feel more hurt when offended by a loved one?

I have really search this out and i found out that it hurt most when offended ny someone you hold dearly. I don't think there is any medical science that can really explain this. I have been a victim of this so many times.Many a times i feel like not having a best friend or even fall in love.But i have come to understand this one thing that,even if you don't need people,people needs you to be there friend or loved one.Whether we one believe this or not,it is true and undeniable.Two people will offend you,say , one is your love one and the other a passerby or someone you know but not so dear to you:you find out that you can easily let the offence of this other person go but that of your loved one keep on lingering.It has more shock on you.I have asked people but they just can't explain why they felt that way.
