Same to India and Sumathra the national animal of my country, Malaysia is tiger. National bank of my country, Maybank has used tiger head as a logo. Tiger symbolised the authority of goverment in various departments.

Tiger (Sumatera), Comodo (Comodo Island), Orang Utan (Borneo Island) and Cendrawasih Bird (papua island)

I think the rooster is the animal of the island I live in! I live on an island belonging to Portugal it's called Madeira Island.
--A lot of people think that Portugal (that includes my Island) belongs to Spain that's a big NO NO
And Madeira Island is actually closer to Marroco then it is to Portugal itself.
