hi everybody, i'm having a problem for some time now. I've noticed that I'm developing some white patches on my nails. It's very small. But i think these are happening bcoz of some deficiency. Can someone give me some advice what to do? One of my doctor friends have told me that sometimes these things happen but for that no need to worry!! what do u say?

Your doctor friend is correct. Those white patches are called luekoplakia and they are just caused by trauma to the nail matrix. All it takes is a small bump where your nail develops to get one, and they are not dangerous, nor do they mean you have any deficiencies. Most people get them occasionally. :)
