Should Sehwag be selected in world cup team?

ya of course shewag should be selected to the team and i heared he was selected to the indian team.. he will be proved himself in the world cup,,

i am agree with you. robin must be placed instead of sehwag. we cannot keep such player for World Cup 2007 who has performed one year back. but who will tell the selector. in my point of view, sehwag should be given rest or should be given chance to play more and more criket in domestic so that he can improve his form.if he does not play well in world cup, should he be dismissed like pathan in the middle of game or he should be sent home. this is not good policy of bcci.

Hi, as you are posting this, it seems the world cup squad has been announced and virendar sehwag has been included if the discussion posted by lalitha55 is correct. I feel this is the first blunder committed by the team management and selectors in loosing the world cup. Hope many more are not going to be repeated hereafter. But I fear that this single mistake alone may be enough for us to get defeated in world cup, as sehwag has amply shown yesterday in the irresponsible reckless way he got out. His place should have gone to one mohamed kaif, a poor man who is technically sound, was the most successful batsmen when we toured the caribbean last time in the odis and is definitely a significantly better fielder than sehwag. NOT AT ALL........... He is out of FORM and there is no need of him In the world cup. He has been given so many chances. If these many chances are given to a new player even he will perform. No doubt he is a capable player but presently he is out of form so JUST LEAVE HIM ...........
