Transformers Toys - Autobots or Decepticons?

Which do you want, autobots or decepticons as your transformer toys? Do you go for the design, technical specs or popularity?

I have been collecting Transformers toys since beginning of the year and have about 80 toys so far.
I go for design I guess, I look at a toy think "that looks cool" and then go get it!

when i was young, i used to watch transformers cartoon on tv. my husband is also a fan of it. i am for the autobots, because they are the good ones rather than the decepticons. my husband also like the autobots. as a matter of fact he has an optimus prime robot which he treasured and now he's given it to our son. my son then liked the autobots. well, i can say maybe we go for the popularity. what do you think?

I watched those cartoons too, but later I prefer the Japanese versions as the drawings were more detailed. I guess the original Optimus Prime is still highly popular and one would forever keep it in his/her collection. I don't have Optimus Prime, but will want to get hold of it.
