Do u use the Keyboard (The one attached to ur computer). What is the Use of ...?

This is for everyone who uses their keyboard to type something into ur computer. That means everyone who is there now in MYLOT. Haven't u seen the Locks (Caps lock, Num Lock, ...) ya thats it. Whats the Scroll lock? Whats its use? Why is it there? It has been there since i can remember and is still there, but i dont use it, unless to see if its really working (the light blinks if it is working). Now my IT prof wants me to research on the use of the Scroll Lock.

Ya u r rite the oldest keyboard that i have seen also has this illness. I think its like they had space for one more button and theyput it there to make the keyboard look gud. But then why is it still there? When we are trying to make our keyboards more compact...

Nada.I really dont know what the scroll bar does.Nice discussion BTW. + rated.But the thing about the IT prof thing, i'm not gonna buy it.LOL

Oh dont worry my IT prof just asked us to do some research and try to find out if we can. That bloke is kinda crazy. There are more of such weird questions that i got from him. I promise I'll start more of these kinda weird discos, if u guys are interested.
Hey feel free to research and tell me if u find out. Ask this question in all the paid forums out there. I dont mind as far as u tell me the final answer.

For what reason? It is for capitalizing words when you start a sentence. Or if yourtrying to get some ones attenttion. that the only thing I think it's for. or just being plain rude.

Yup thats rite i dont want anything to do with The CAPS LOCK. What i'm interested is in the Scroll Lock. Why was it invented even before they invented the scroll? It is actually a secret brainwave software device manufactured by the first keyboard makers. When the first keyboard came into being, the makers were afriad that people wud not like the model. "Hey why are all the letters scrambled? Cant they make it in order?" So they devised a sinister plan to take control of all computer users around the world. If the Scroll Lock is switched off then the keyboard transmits a brainwave frequency that will mess with ur brain and make u believe that u r in love with the current keyboard model. Dont fear folks, we can avert this danger. Just help me find some solid proof of this and we will go to court for our keyboarding rights.
