hey guys pls help me make a decision.. i've asked my boyfriend and bestfriend about it and they both didnt like the idea.. okay here it goes...
i got this job offer tomorrow in an advertising company, the on my 2nd interview the Marketing Manager explained to me the job description and he said it will take alot of my time, and even emphasizes on it's a "ON CALL" type of job. means even on weekends, holidays, big storms, or whatever happens if the company needs me i have to be there. if he asks me to wake up in the middle of the night i'd have to get up and be at work!my boyfriend dont approve of this, he said i might not like it after months on the job because it will take so much of my time away from our daughter! please help me... what do you think??? should i follow my boyfriend and not accept the offer?

If you really like the job and its something you have always wanted to do then maybe you should take it. If it becomes too time consuming later on then you can always leave, but if you are just taking it because you need a job then dont do it. Look for something else. if you are doing a job you dont like and they keep expecting you to come at any time of the day then it becomes very stressful because as it is you dont like it and having to give up precious time with your daughter to go to work will make you like it even less.

hi, it's important to follow others decision but for me you should just ask yourself. is it okay with you or not? can you do the job? If the answer is yes, then go on. But if you think you can't handle it good then better look for another..
anyways, it was just my thought..

The position seems excellent to me and a very good opportunity for your carrier but as you know, it make you to be ready all the time whenever the company needs you. The downside is you have to leave your beautiful daughter for the sake of your carrier. I think i'll go with your boyfriend to turn-down the offer. It is not healthy for your daughter. That what my opinion.
